Waking before six in the morning and watching the sun rise from bed, as the sea and sky slowly shift in colour, is one of those experiences that words can barely hold. Our days unfolded between sun-bleached paths, quiet swims in the Aegean and long, unhurried mornings at Perma. But beyond the beauty of the place itself, what made our stay truly memorable was the way we were welcomed.
